Using Choopy

These terms govern your access to and use of Choopy. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Choopy for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You must meet the minimum legal age to enter a contract where you live and provide accurate account information.

Your account and content

You are responsible for your account, the activity under it, and the content you submit. You retain ownership of your content.

You grant Choopy a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit your content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to provide features you request, including AI generation and sharing.

Acceptable use

You may not use Choopy to break the law, violate another person's rights, distribute malware, gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, evade limits, or generate or share content that creates a material risk of harm.

You may not reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it, or use automated means to extract or reproduce the service at scale without permission.

AI output and important decisions

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. Choopy helps organize reasoning and sources, but does not replace professional advice or independent verification.

You are responsible for evaluating output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, employment, safety, or other high-impact decisions.

Plans, credits, and payments

Some features are subject to plan entitlements or model-usage credits. Canvas organization does not consume credits; requesting new model-generated work may. Current allowances and plan availability are shown on the pricing page or in the product.

Choopy Plus is available as a monthly or annual subscription. The price, billing cadence, and any applicable taxes or fees are shown before you complete checkout. Prices are listed in USD on Choopy; checkout may display a supported local currency. A subscription renews automatically for the selected cadence until it is canceled.

Credit top-ups are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Purchased credits are added after the payment provider confirms the transaction and may be reduced by usage, refunded, reversed, or removed when an account is terminated for a material violation of these terms. Credits have no cash value and may not be sold, transferred, or redeemed outside Choopy.

Choopy is a digital SaaS product. After a confirmed payment, Plus access and purchased credits are delivered automatically to the signed-in Choopy account; we do not use this checkout to sell physical goods or direct one-to-one manual services.

Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for paid Choopy purchases and operates the hosted checkout and customer billing portal. Dodo's buyer terms apply to the purchase and payment relationship it manages. Choopy does not treat a browser return from checkout as proof of payment; paid access and purchased credits are applied after payment confirmation is received from Dodo.

Refunds and cancellation

You can cancel a Choopy Plus subscription through the billing portal linked from Settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You keep the Plus access included in that paid period; canceling does not by itself reverse a completed charge.

Refund requests, payment failures, duplicate charges, and billing disputes are handled through the payment provider's checkout or customer-support channels. You can also contact Choopy support and include the account email and transaction details. Refunds are reviewed under the payment provider's buyer terms, applicable law, and the circumstances of the request. Nothing in this policy limits a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

If a payment is refunded, reversed, disputed, or otherwise invalidated, Choopy may remove the associated purchased credits or paid entitlements to the extent permitted by law. We may ask for information needed to investigate a billing issue and prevent fraud.

Sharing and third-party services

When you create a share link or invitation, recipients may access the information made available through it. You are responsible for managing recipients and revoking access when appropriate.

Choopy relies on third-party services such as authentication, hosting, AI models, search, analytics, and Dodo Payments. Their services may be governed by separate terms and may change independently of Choopy. Dodo Payments acts as the merchant of record for paid purchases, including payment processing, invoicing, taxes, refunds, and disputes.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Choopy at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law, address nonpayment, or respond to a material violation of these terms.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Choopy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Choopy and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from the service. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date, and continued use after they take effect means you accept the revised terms.
